Winter Lockdown 2020-1. Excited to contribute to The Covid Chronicle quilt organised by Wendy Bliss. It was useful to reflect upon the experience of lockdown just as we are beginning to emerge back into ‘normal’ life. Winter was definitely the toughest one for me so I chose to depict the positive moments walking my dog along the seafront in the dark winter evenings. These were a much-needed moment to myself that broke the day up into ‘after work’ time when everything blended due to working from home. The moon on the sea was so calming. I’m very lucky to live so close to the beach.
