For me, Covid meant not being able to play music, as groups of musicians were unable meet in person. All concerts were cancelled and 2020 was the first Christmas ever that I didn’t play any Carols. So, we took to recording lock down music videos and collaborated over the internet, having to learn many new skills along the way. For The Covid Chronicle project I chose 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' as my theme as we'd play that tune outside our front door on a Thursday night, when everyone was clapping the NHS. Whilst designing my panel it soon became apparent that the 5 lines of the music stave would work really well as the rainbow, so I then set about creating the multi-coloured French knots to create the haze of a rainbow. I also wanted a bit of glitter in there as well, as music definitely adds the sparkle to our lives 
